It's a new era for Placitas, New Mexico, with a new library building opening soon!

From the conception of the Placitas Community Library in 2005 until the move that will occur on June 1, 2010, our library has been located at 1 Tierra Madre Road. With the move to our new buidling, the Old Library Building will become vacant!

As the owner of this building, I'm approaching all Placitas residents, asking you to respond to a quick survey that will guide me in making the best possible use of this building and the 2 acres of land. I want to make available the use of this land that is of the greatest interest to all my fellow residents.

Hello, and thanks for providing your thoughts about possible uses for the property (2 acres and the Old Library Building) at 01 Tierra Madre Road in Placitas, so we can identify a use or uses that will satisfy the largest group of Placitas residents!

The zoning for this property is SU- Special Use. This includes things like professional offices, medical offices and clinics, banks, galleries and artist studios, dressmaking, tailoring, shoe repair, key and lock, confectionaries and photo or framing shops. I realize that some of the uses people may want would require the county's permission they are non-conforming uses.
